This can vary but Medicaid and ANMC usually have travel available 1 – 3 days prior to the patient departure.

Financial Support
The healthcare system can be difficult to navigate. Illanka Community Health Center is here to help. We are happy to assist you in applying for Medicaid, Medicare, Denali Kid Care, Affordable Care Act, Veterans Affairs, Disability, and Social Security. We also offer discounts and payment plans.

Enrollment Information
Medicaid
Medicaid is a program that provides health coverage to low-income citizens of Alaska.
Medicare
Medicare is a federal program providing health care coverage for people 65 and older. People under the age of 65 who can qualify for Medicare include those with certain disabilities and those with permanent Kidney Failure.

Denali Kid Care is Medicaid coverage for children ages 0 to 18 and for pregnant women meeting the income eligibility.

Ladies First
Ladies First is designed to help pay for breast cancer screenings and cervical cancer screenings. This includes exams and diagnostic testing. Eligibility is based on age and income.

Payment Options & Discounts
The sliding fee discount is designed to help cover your out-of-pocket expenses. Eligibility is based on household size and income. This discount can be used in conjunction with other Health Insurance programs.
Prompt Pay Discount
ICHC offers their patients a 20% discount if medical services are paid for at the time of the visit.
