The Native Village of Eyak’s (NVE) Cultural Department is requesting proposals from tribal members who have an interest in shadowing traditional tattooist, Holly Mititquq Nordlum, between April 12th-16th, 2023. Two tribal members may shadow Holly, but we ask that at least one treat this opportunity as a serious, possible career avenue.
To be considered, respondents must send submittals to NVE’s Cultural Coordinator, prior deadline, with a completed application attached, and meet tribal member requirements (see section VIII, A). Deadline: Proposals will be accepted until: 11:59pm (AKST) on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023.
